Good with kids, dogs and cats!!
Meet Matrix 💙
Matrix is a 6-month-old Siberian Husky who weighs just under 20 pounds and has already overcome more than any puppy ever should. He was rescued from a severe neglect and abuse situation where six dogs were confined together in a small outdoor kennel, living in filth with no food or water. All were extremely malnourished. Despite that heartbreaking start, Matrix has shown incredible resilience and heart.
When he first arrived, Matrix was terrified of the world around him. With time, patience, and care, he has truly begun to blossom. He is now friendly with other dogs, cats, and kids, and his confidence continues to grow each day. Watching him discover that the world can be safe and kind has been nothing short of amazing.
Matrix is a Siberian Husky through and through. Huskies are intelligent, social, and known for their expressive personalities—and Matrix is no exception. He enjoys “talking” to his people and will happily hold some very entertaining conversations with you. The Husky breed thrives with mental stimulation, structure, and consistent training, and Matrix will need a family that understands and embraces those needs.
Matrix is just beginning to learn leash skills and will require continued practice, patience, and positive reinforcement as he builds confidence. He is also learning about crate training and is doing well settling after a little time, especially when toys or enrichment items are provided. Like all puppies, Matrix will need ongoing guidance, consistency, and time to help him grow into a well-adjusted adult dog.
Matrix would do best in a home with a secure yard where he can safely run and play, and with a family committed to providing the structure, exercise, and consistency a Husky puppy needs. In return, he will offer loyalty, personality, and a front-row seat to his incredible journey from survival to thriving.
Matrix has already come so far—now he’s ready for a forever family who will continue to help him shine.
Ajax - ADOPTION PENDING
Ajax | Male |2 yrs | 10lbs Schnauzer / Terrier mix | Neutered | Vaccinated | Microchipped.
Good with kids, cats and dogs
This adorable 2-year-old Schnauzer/Terrier mix weighs just 9.6 lbs and is full of charm, personality, and playful energy! Rescued from a high-kill shelter, Ajax quickly made himself at home and is ready to bring joy to his forever family.
Ajax loves being held, soaking up belly rubs, and spending time with his people. He’s great with other dogs, cats, and kids ages 6 and up—though babies and toddlers can make him a little nervous. He enjoys playing outside, tossing toys around, and hanging out with his doggie friends.

Daisy is a 5-month-old Black Lab mix weighing 23.6 pounds, and she is everything people love about Lab puppies — affectionate, loyal, and wonderfully adaptable. With her soft black coat and soulful eyes, she has that classic Lab look paired with a gentle, loving heart.
Labrador mixes are known for their friendly, people-oriented personalities, intelligence, and devotion to their families. Even as a young pup, Daisy is already showing those beautiful breed traits. After some fun, she’s more than happy to curl up beside you for snuggles.
At just 4 to 6 months old, Daisy is still very much a puppy. This is such an important stage in her development, and she will need a family committed to continuing her training with patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement. Charlotte
Female | 9mths | 35lbs German Shepherd mix
Spayed|Vaccinated | Microchipped
AVAILABLE TO FOSTER / FOSTER TO ADOPT
🌟Health Concerns: Was paralyzed at birth. Regained most of her mobility she still has a back leg that is still partially paralyzed.
Charlotte is a brave and resilient 9- month-old German Shepherd mix who has already overcome more in her short life than most dogs ever will. Born partially paralyzed, Charlotte went through physical therapy and water therapy as a puppy, and thanks to her determination (and a little help along the way), she regained about 80% of her mobility. While one of her back legs still has some paralysis, you’d hardly know it once she’s on her feet—Charlotte can walk, run, play, and enjoy life with the same joy as any other pup.
True to her breed, Charlotte is intelligent, loyal, and deeply loving, though she can be a bit shy when meeting new people or adjusting to new places. Once she feels safe, her sweet personality shines, and she becomes a devoted companion who will stick by your side through everything. She’s wonderful with other dogs, gentle with cats, and absolutely adores children. Playtime with toys and treats makes her happiest, and she loves the company of a furry playmate.
Because of her mobility needs, Charlotte would do best in a single-story home and would love a fenced yard where she can stretch her legs and play. She is also still learning how to handle stairs, so her future family will need to be mindful and patient as she continues building her strength and confidence. Like most German Shepherds, Charlotte thrives on mental stimulation and training—puzzle toys, learning new cues, and engaging with her people will keep her sharp and happy. A soft bed at night, love from her people, and support when she needs it is all she asks for in return.
Charlotte may have had a difficult start, but she has an incredible spirit and a heart that’s ready to give everything to the family who opens theirs to her. With just a little extra care, she will reward her forever family with loyalty, love, and endless joy.
Ryleigh - ADOPTED
💖 ADOPTED 💖
Ryleigh | Female | 4 months | Catahoula leopard dog | Vaccinated | Spayed
Ryleigh is a stunning four-month-old Catahoula Leopard Dog with a heart as beautiful as her coat. Weighing 32.4 pounds and already spayed, this sweet girl was rescued from the Laredo shelter and is now safe, loved, and ready for the forever family she deserves. She is heartworm negative and currently ehrlichia positive, which is being properly managed. Despite that bump in the road, she is thriving and full of puppy joy.
Catahoulas are known for their intelligence, loyalty, and versatility. Originally bred as working dogs, they are quick learners who form deep bonds with their families. Ryleigh is already showing those wonderful breed traits — she is friendly, attentive, and very treat motivated, which makes training both effective and fun. With continued consistency, structure, and positive reinforcement, she will grow into a beautifully mannered and devoted adult companion.
She has a lovely medium energy level and enjoys playtime without being overwhelming. Ryleigh gets along beautifully with dogs, cats, and children, making her a wonderful fit for a family or multi-pet home. She has no prey drive, is not a digger, and is not a nuisance barker. She’s mostly housetrained, crate trained, and leash trained — an impressive start for such a young pup.
Because she is a working breed, Ryleigh will need a family committed to providing continued guidance, mental stimulation, and daily exercise. Puppies require patience, time, and consistency to help them mature into confident, well-balanced adults.
Enrichment activities, training sessions, and structured routines will be important as she grows. A yard to safely stretch her legs and explore would be ideal, though she can adapt to apartment, single-story, or multi-story living with the right commitment to her activity needs.
Ryleigh is affectionate, adaptable, and eager to please. She is at that perfect age where she is ready to learn, bond deeply, and grow alongside her family. If you are looking for a smart, loyal, and loving companion who will share your adventures and fill your home with joy, Ryleigh is ready to meet you.

Aurora - ADOPTED
💖 ADOPTED 💖
Aurora| Female | 5 Years | 48lbs | Siberian Husky | Neutered | Vaccinated | Microchipped
Meet Aurora, a stunning 5-year-old Siberian Husky whose strength and gentle heart shine despite the difficult life she was forced to endure.
Aurora was rescued from a severe neglect and abuse case where she and five other dogs were confined to a small outdoor kennel, living in their own filth with no food or water. All six dogs were extremely malnourished. Aurora was also used for continuous breeding, treated as nothing more than a money-making asset rather than a living, feeling companion. Her past was defined by survival, not love—but that chapter is finally closed.
Despite everything she has been through, Aurora is an incredibly friendly and loving girl who truly adores her people. She enjoys car rides, loves being near her humans, and has the classic Husky “talk” and howl that makes the breed so special. Siberian Huskies are known for their intelligence, loyalty, and strong bonds with their families, and Aurora embodies all of these traits with a medium energy level that balances activity and companionship.
Aurora is currently learning leash etiquette and will do best with a no-pull harness setup as she continues her training. Like many dogs who have experienced starvation, she does resource guard her food from other dogs. This behavior is rooted in her past and is not aggression. With patience, consistency, and proper management, she can continue to make progress in a stable home environment.
Because Huskies are social and people-oriented, Aurora’s ideal home would be one where her family is home frequently or works from home. She forms deep attachments and prefers to stay close to her people rather than be left alone for long periods. She does well with kids and other dogs but would need a home without cats.
Aurora is spayed, heartworm negative, and healthy. She previously had a fatty tumor removed, which is no longer a concern. What she needs now is a committed, understanding family who will honor her past, provide structure and consistency, and show her what it truly means to be loved.
Aurora has survived neglect, exploitation, and hardship—and she’s ready for a future filled with safety, patience, and unconditional love.

Obi - ADOPTED
💖 ADOPTED 💖
Male | 2yrs| 11lbs | Neutered | Vaccinated | Microchipped |
AVAILABLE FOR FOSTER/ADOPTION
Obi, (aka Obi Wan Kenobi) is a 2-year-old, 11 lb bundle of personality is equal parts adorable and hilarious! Obi is what we like to call a human social hot mess 😂 — he’s full of love, energy, and charm, with just a sprinkle of that classic Chihuahua “spice.”
Obi absolutely adores people and kids. He’s super social, loves attention, and will happily soak up all the pets and lap time he can get. He walks great on leash, has good potty manners, and is always ready for an adventure or a good snuggle session.
Now, when it comes to other dogs, Obi’s a bit of a diva. He needs to be the only dog in the home, as he doesn’t like to share his humans with other adult dogs—especially when it comes to cuddles and attention. That said, he’s surprisingly sweet with puppies, so if his future family ever wanted to add a little one down the road, that could work! He does like to bark at cats, though, so a feline-free home might be best.
Obi is an active, goofy, lovable little rockstar who just needs the right person to appreciate his big personality and loving heart. His good-natured, joyful spirit far outweighs the bit of sass he carries. Give this funny little guy a chance—he’ll keep you laughing and loved every single day. 💛
Harvey - ADOPTED
💖 ADOPTED 💖
Harvey is an approximately 4-month-old Boxer mix who currently weighs about 10 pounds He was rescued from our local shelter after being part of a group of dogs confiscated by Animal Control in a cruelty case. Despite his rough start, this little guy is full of love, sweetness, and pure puppy joy. 💛
Harvey may be small now, but he’s destined to be a big boy—probably around 50-60 pounds when fully grown! That means he’ll need an adopter ready to invest time, consistency, and positive training to help him grow into a well-mannered gentle giant.
Right now, Harvey’s favorite hobbies include eating, napping, playing, and then doing it all over again. He’s adorably goofy, endlessly sweet, and the definition of a cuddle bug. This silly boy plays hard, naps harder, and keeps everyone smiling with his clumsy puppy antics.
Harvey is wonderful with dogs, cats, and kids—he loves everyone he meets. He’s still just a big baby at heart, and he’ll happily melt into your arms for snuggles. Around here, we call him our little baby potato 🥔—and he could be yours!
Sam - ADOPTED
💖 ADOPTED 💖
Sam | Male | 5 yrs | 47lbs | Lab/ Bulldog mix | Neutered | Vaccinated | Microchipped | Great with kids, dogs and cats
AVAILABLE TO FOSTER, FOSTER TO ADOPT OR ADOPTION
💖 Health Concerns: Has a bounce from being a distemper survivor
Meet Sam, a 5-year-old Lab/Bulldog mix with a heart full of love and a little bounce in his step—literally! This sweet boy was surrendered along with three other dogs when his owner could no longer care for them due to health issues. Despite all the changes in his life, Sam has remained gentle, loving, and endlessly resilient.
Sam is a distemper survivor, and as a result, he has a charming little bounce when he walks. It doesn’t slow him down or bother him at all—in fact, it just adds to his personality! He’s always dancing to the rhythm of his own beat, spreading joy wherever he goes.
He gets along beautifully with other dogs, does great with cats, and adores children. Sam loves being part of the action and prefers to be where his people are. While he’s a bit hesitant on leash, especially around doorways, he just needs a little encouragement and patience. With time and practice, he’ll gain more confidence and settle right in.
This easygoing guy has a few quirks that make him even more lovable—he’ll happily join in when the other dogs start barking, and he has a funny fascination with dirt, enjoying a good dig and play session. Sam is also very treat-motivated, which makes him a joy to work with, and he absolutely loves affection and playtime with his dog friends.
With his low-to-medium energy level, Sam would do wonderfully in a home that has a yard where he can run, explore, and soak up the sunshine. He’s ready to bring happiness, loyalty, and that signature bounce into the heart of his forever family.
Maxine - ADOPTED
💖 ADOPTED 💖
Female | 3yrs | 14lbs | Chiweenie | Spayed | Vaccinated| Microchipped | Good with cats | Adult home
🌟 Must have another dog in the home 🌟
Maxine is a 3-year-old Chihuahua/Dachshund (aka Chiweenie) mix weighing 14.4 pounds. She was rescued from a high-kill shelter after being seized from the same severe abuse and hoarding case as her sister, Nylah. Like her sister, she came to us carrying the heavy emotional scars of a life spent in fear and neglect.
Maxine is not a “walk in and fall in love instantly” kind of dog—at least not in the traditional sense. Her love must be earned, piece by piece, through patience, consistency, and kindness. She is a dog who has learned to survive by keeping her distance until she feels certain she is safe. The walls she has built around her heart are strong, but not unbreakable.
When first meeting Maxine, you may notice how she hangs back, watching every movement, unsure whether to trust. If you approach too quickly or reach for her suddenly, she may stiffen, pull away, or give a small warning growl—not out of malice, but from the fear that’s been ingrained in her. This is her way of communicating, “Please, go slow with me.” If you listen to her and move at her pace, she will begin to see you as someone worth taking a chance on. Having a dog in the home helps her to feel safe.
The first time you’re able to gently pet her without her flinching, or the first time she approaches you on her own, will be a breakthrough moment—one that may bring tears to your eyes. These moments are hard-won and incredibly precious.
Maxine does well with other dogs and enjoys their companionship. She also gets along with cats. Like her sister, she would do best in a home with older children (12 and up) who understand that fearful dogs require space, predictability, and gentle handling. Fast movements, loud voices, and chaos will overwhelm her and set back her progress.
A family willing to take in Maxine should understand:
💖 Her healing will take time. There is no set timeline for trust; it unfolds slowly, in her own way.
💖 Structure is comforting. Predictable daily routines help her understand she’s safe and cared for.
💖 Patience is powerful. She may have setbacks, but your steady presence will help her recover faster.
💖 Celebrate every step forward. From taking a treat from your hand to lying nearby without fear—each milestone is a testament to her courage.
💖 Safety comes first.
💖 A securely fenced yard, careful handling, and an understanding of her tendency to bolt when frightened are essential.
Maxine has survived a past that no dog should ever experience, but she is still here—still capable of learning, still able to love. For the right person, watching her transform from fear to trust will be one of life’s greatest joys.
She has seen the worst of life—now she’s ready for a patient, gentle soul to show her the best.
Juniper - ADOPTED
💖 ADOPTED 💖
Juniper | Female | 2yrs | 12lbs | Chihuahua mix | Spayed | Vaccinated | Microchipped
Good with Dogs, no children, untested with cats. Experience with shy rescue dogs preferred.
Juniper is a shy little gal who needs just a bit of time to let her quirky, lovable personality shine through. Once you’re part of her trust circle, though—get ready, because she’s a total goofball! 😂
This sweet girl will make you laugh with her silly antics once she feels safe and secure.
Juniper is about 2 years old and weighs around 12 pounds. She’s great with other animals and has come such a long way since being rescued from a heartbreaking hoarding situation. Despite her rough start, Juniper is learning every day that the world isn’t such a scary place.
Because she can be timid and takes time to warm up, Juniper will need a patient and loving adopter who can provide gentle reassurance, consistency, and positive reinforcement. She isn’t aggressive, but when she was first rescued, she gave a few little air nips when scared or unsure—so for now, she’s best suited for a home without children.
Juniper truly blossoms more every day, showing more of her happy, silly side as she gains confidence. She will need a fenced yard and a bit of extra care as she transitions to a new home. In the beginning, keeping her on a leash and harness (even indoors) will help her feel safe while she settles in.
If you can look past the shy exterior and give Juniper the time she needs, you’ll discover the sweetest, funniest little sunshine who will fill your days with love.
Please give this deserving girl a chance—she’s so worth it. 💖

Cinnamon - ADOPTED
💖 ADOPTED 💖
Female | 2yrs | 39lbs| Kelpie/ Husky mix
Good with dogs and cats
Good with kids: calm respectful kids
Cinnamon is a 2-year-old, 39-pound Kelpie/Husky mix whose gentle spirit makes her an easy dog to fall in love with. She came to us as an owner surrender along with three other dogs when her previous owner faced critical health issues. Despite the sudden change in her life, Cinnamon has shown a soft resilience and a sweetness that shines through more each day.
With her Kelpie and Husky mix, Cinnamon carries the blend of intelligence, sensitivity, and loyalty that both breeds are known for. She enjoys routine, calm homes, and steady companionship. Her energy level is moderate—she loves a good walk, some time to explore a yard, and then settling into quiet moments with her people or her dog friends.
Cinnamon can be shy at first, especially in new environments, but she warms up with patience and gentle guidance. She truly loves the company of other dogs and feels her safest and happiest when she has a canine companion to lean on. She’s perfectly fine with cats and generally steers clear of them. Children are welcome in her world as long as they are calm and respectful; loud, fast, high-energy play makes her nervous, and she thrives best in a peaceful household.
Leash walks are one of her favorite parts of the day. She moves politely beside you and takes in the world with quiet curiosity. Treats and toys are still new concepts to her—she doesn’t quite understand why treats are offered, and squeaky toys or loud noises tend to frighten her. This sweet girl likely hasn’t had many positive experiences with play, so she’ll need a patient family willing to show her that the world can be safe, fun, and full of love.
A home with a secure yard and at least one friendly dog would be ideal for Cinnamon. She blossoms when she has another dog to bond with, and having space to stretch her legs gives her confidence. With a calm environment, consistency, and a family willing to let her unfold at her own pace, Cinnamon will become a loyal, loving companion who is grateful for every gentle moment she’s given.
