Stewie is a charming little guy with an 11-pound body and the confidence of a much bigger dog. At three years old, he’s a social, friendly boy who loves being part of the action—whether he’s racing around the yard, soaking up attention, or settling into a warm lap for snuggle time. He was rescued from a high-kill shelter, but you’d never know it from his bright spirit and happy, affectionate personality. Stewie enjoys the good things in life: tasty treats, soft moist foods, and anyone willing to let him curl up beside them.

As a Chihuahua, Stewie carries that classic “big dog syndrome”—bold, expressive, and not afraid to speak his mind. He thrives in a calm, predictable environment and does especially well in homes where he isn’t bombarded by overly hyper dogs getting in his face. Chihuahuas are known for their loyalty, attachment to their people, and love of cozy spaces, which makes Stewie a wonderful fit for apartment living or anyone looking for a devoted companion. His medium energy level means he’s happy to play and explore, but he’s just as happy to be held close and enjoy the comforts of home.

Stewie is good with other dogs but can try to keep his person to himself if sharing a home with another dog  He’s also good with kids who understand how to interact gently with a small dog. With his affectionate nature and lively spirit, he’s ready to bring joy, companionship, and a whole lot of personality to a lucky family.
