When it comes to non-profit organizations, it truly takes a village. We are fortunate enough to have affiliates that show their support to Death Row Dog Rescue, by offering their services to us. Currently, we have the wonderful affiliates below that we work closely with.
Dog Trainer Aaron
Aaron is a CAPDT and Fear Free Certified Professional Dog Trainer serving the Hamilton and Niagara region. He specializes in obedience, manners, leash skills, reactivity, and helping fearful or anxious dogs build confidence through positive, reward-based training.
Aaron is passionate about strengthening the bond between dogs and their families and has a special interest in supporting rescue dogs as they transition into loving homes. As the proud owner of a rescue dog himself, he understands the unique challenges and rewards that can come with adopting. His patient, individualized approach focuses on creating lasting success for both dogs and their owners.
Aaron is also committed to giving back to the rescue community through Paws on the Ground by offering complimentary training sessions, on a case-by-case basis, for shelter and rescue dogs facing adoption challenges due to behavioural concerns. His goal is to help give these dogs the best possible opportunity to find loving homes and, where possible, improve outcomes for dogs that may otherwise face long-term shelter stays or euthanasia because of behavioural issues.

Paws on the Ground
Holly is the founder of Paws on the Ground, a volunteer-run, community-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting animal rescues and shelters through fundraising, advocacy, and community outreach.
Drawing on her background in emergency services and a past career in the Canadian Armed Forces, Holly has combined her passion for public service with animal welfare by creating opportunities that connect people with rescue organizations, promote fostering and adoption, raise much-needed funds for animals in need and mentoring her volunteers who are aspiring first responders.
Holly is also the owner of a trained St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog, reflecting her passion for the healing connection between people and animals.
