Meet Arya, a bright and joyful 9 month-old Cannon Dog mix who weighs 24 pounds. Arya was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Mexico, and she hasn’t stopped smiling since she was given her second chance. She is the definition of a happy, playful pup and has a zest for life that shines through in everything she does.

Cannon Dogs are known for being intelligent, loyal, and people-oriented companions. They enjoy having an active lifestyle and thrive when they can be both mentally and physically engaged. With the right balance of exercise, playtime, and training, they become devoted family dogs who bond closely with their people. Arya shows all of these wonderful traits in her own puppy way — eager to please, full of enthusiasm, and always ready to join in on the fun.

Arya loves running and playing in the yard with her doggy friends, gets along beautifully with cats, and adores children of all ages. Her favorite pastime is carrying toys proudly, prancing with them in her mouth as if she’s showing off her treasures. She has a medium-to-high energy level, making her a great fit for a family who enjoys adventures, playtime, and including their dog in everyday life.

At just 8 months old, Arya is still young and highly trainable. She’s at the perfect age to learn routines, build good habits, and grow into the best version of herself with the guidance of a loving family.
