Juniper is a shy little gal who needs just a bit of time to let her quirky, lovable personality shine through. Once you’re part of her trust circle, though—get ready, because she’s a total goofball! 😂 

This sweet girl will make you laugh with her silly antics once she feels safe and secure.

Juniper is about 2 years old and weighs around 12 pounds. She’s great with other animals and has come such a long way since being rescued from a heartbreaking hoarding situation. Despite her rough start, Juniper is learning every day that the world isn’t such a scary place.

Because she can be timid and takes time to warm up, Juniper will need a patient and loving adopter who can provide gentle reassurance, consistency, and positive reinforcement. She isn’t aggressive, but when she was first rescued, she gave a few little air nips when scared or unsure—so for now, she’s best suited for a home without children.

Juniper truly blossoms more every day, showing more of her happy, silly side as she gains confidence. She will need a fenced yard and a bit of extra care as she transitions to a new home. In the beginning, keeping her on a leash and harness (even indoors) will help her feel safe while she settles in.
