Meet Willey, a one-year-old Polish Greyhound and Catahoula mix who is as gentle as he is handsome. Surrendered by his previous owner, Willey arrived a little unsure of the world, but once he realizes he’s safe, his sweet personality blossoms. He starts out shy, but it doesn’t take long for him to warm up and seek out affection, leaning in close for reassurance and soaking up every bit of attention offered.

Willey carries the calm, sensitive nature often seen in Polish Greyhounds along with the intelligence and loyalty of the Catahoula breed. Together, those traits make him an easygoing companion who forms strong bonds, loves having a routine, and enjoys being near his people. Though still learning what a leash is all about, he is eager to please and responds beautifully to patience, gentle guidance, and positive experiences. At just a year old, he’s still growing into himself and will thrive in a home that understands young dogs need consistency, structure, and continued training to become confident, well-adjusted adults.

He adores treats, settles beautifully on a comfy dog bed, gets along well with dogs, cats, and kids, and would love a home where he can enjoy a yard to explore at his own pace. Willey is a calm, tender-hearted boy who just wants a family to love and someone to show him the world isn’t such a scary place. With the right home, he will blossom into the loyal, gentle companion he was always meant to be.
