Blanca is a beautiful 1-year-old Collie/Pyrenees mix with a gentle spirit, a happy heart, and a natural love for family life. She came to us as a stray alongside a smaller dog, and despite her rough start, she has remained sweet, trusting, and eager to bond with the people around her. At 48.8 lbs, she’s a great medium-sized companion who fits comfortably into both active and relaxed households.

As a Collie/Pyrenees mix, Blanca blends two wonderful breeds known for loyalty, intelligence, and a deep devotion to their people. Collies are quick learners who thrive on structure, routine, and positive reinforcement, while Great Pyrenees bring calmness, confidence, and a naturally nurturing temperament—especially with children. This combination gives Blanca a lovely balance: a dog who enjoys play and activity, but also knows how to settle and soak up affection.

Blanca is friendly, social, and absolutely adores kids. She plays beautifully with other dogs, loves running and exploring the yard, and her enthusiasm for water makes her a fun addition for families who enjoy outdoor time. She’s treat-motivated and already learning her basic commands, making training both enjoyable and rewarding. Like most young dogs, Blanca will thrive with consistency, clear guidance, and a family committed to helping her continue to grow into a well-mannered, confident adult.

She does need a cat-free home, as she cannot live safely with feline friends. Blanca is Ehrlichia positive, ( not contagious to people or animals ) but she is already receiving care and doing well. She is spayed, heartworm negative, and ready to begin her next chapter.
