Teddy is a 5-6 month old Rat Terrier weighing 18.4 pounds with the sweetest little face and the gentlest personality. This handsome boy is very shy when first meeting new people, but once he begins to feel safe and comfortable, his loving and affectionate side slowly starts to shine.

Teddy absolutely loves being close to his people and would happily spend his days curled up in your lap soaking in attention and affection. He is calm, gentle, and happiest in peaceful environments where he can relax and feel secure.

This sweet little guy gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and kids, making him a fantastic fit for many different homes and lifestyles. He also rides beautifully in the car and would make a wonderful little sidekick for daily adventures or cozy days at home.

With a low-to-medium energy level, Teddy enjoys a slower-paced lifestyle filled with companionship, cuddles, and gentle playtime. Loud or chaotic environments can make him nervous, so he would thrive best in a calmer home where he can continue building confidence at his own pace.

As a Rat Terrier, Teddy is intelligent, loyal, sensitive, and deeply bonded to his people. Dogs like him flourish with routine, gentle guidance, reassurance, positive reinforcement, and lots of love.

Teddy has no known health concerns or physical limitations. He is neutered and has a heartworm test scheduled. He is ready to find a loving foster or foster-to-adopt home where he can finally feel safe enough to fully blossom into the amazing companion he is meant to be.
