Meet Rupert! 💙🐾
If you’re looking for a little dog with a BIG personality, Rupert might just be your guy!
Rupert is an adorable 8-month-old Pug/Boxer mix weighing just 25 pounds. This handsome little fellow is full of personality, affection and all the wonderful chaos that comes with being a happy, playful puppy.
Rupert absolutely loves to play! Whether he’s chasing toys, running around with his canine friends or enjoying some attention from his favourite people, this boy is always ready for a good time.
He’s incredibly friendly, affectionate and treat motivated, making him a wonderful young dog to continue training with. He’s already learned his sit command, is crate trained and walks nicely on a leash. He also loves car rides, so he’s more than happy to tag along on family adventures!
Rupert does wonderfully with other dogs and would likely love having a playful canine companion in his future home. He can sometimes join in with the barking when other dogs get excited, but that’s just part of his enthusiastic puppy personality.
He’s also good with dog-savvy cats and would do well in a home with children ages 6 and older.
As a Pug/Boxer mix, Rupert has a fun combination of breed characteristics. Pugs are known for their affectionate, people-loving personalities, while Boxers are famously playful, energetic and devoted to their families. Rupert certainly seems to have inherited a wonderful mix of both!
At just 8 months old, Rupert has a medium-high energy level and will need a family who understands that young dogs require exercise, mental stimulation, playtime and continued training.
He would love a family who enjoys being active and wants a dog who can participate in their everyday adventures. Whether that means exploring new trails, playing in the yard or heading out for a walk, Rupert is ready to be involved.
Although he’d certainly appreciate a yard to run around in, Rupert could also do well in an apartment or smaller home, provided his exercise and enrichment needs are consistently met.
His housetraining status is currently unknown, so his future family should be prepared to continue working on his routines as he settles into his new home.
Rupert is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative, with no known health concerns or physical limitations.
What makes Rupert so special is his wonderful enthusiasm for life. He’s young, curious, affectionate and ready to experience everything the world has to offer alongside a family who loves him.
Rupert deserves a home where he can play, learn, explore and grow into the amazing companion he’s already showing us he can be.
If you’re looking for a fun-loving, affectionate little adventure buddy with a big heart and an even bigger personality, Rupert might be exactly who you’ve been waiting for! 💙🐾
