Meet Pretty Girl 💕🐾

Her name really does suit her. Pretty Girl is a beautiful, petite 1-year-old Terrier mix with a sweet face, gentle personality and a heart just waiting for someone to fall in love with her.

Pretty Girl can be a little shy when she first meets someone, but give her a chance to feel comfortable and you’ll quickly discover an incredibly affectionate, cuddly and loving girl underneath. She isn’t looking for chaos or constant excitement - she’s a lower-energy girl who would love a calm home, a comfortable place to curl up and people she can trust.

She is good with other dogs and kids and has also been introduced to cats. At only 53 pounds, she’s a really manageable size and could fit beautifully into many different family situations.

Despite being only a year old, Pretty Girl is described as low energy. She seems much more interested in companionship and affection than being constantly on the go. She would still enjoy walks, enrichment and opportunities to explore, but she’s also more than happy to slow things down and enjoy being close to her people.

Pretty Girl came to the shelter as an owner surrender, so she’s already experienced the confusion of losing the home and people she knew. For a shy, sensitive young dog, that kind of change can be especially difficult. She deserves the chance to feel secure again and learn that her next home isn’t going anywhere.

Once Pretty Girl trusts you, we think there’s an incredibly loving companion waiting to come out. She just needs someone willing to give her a little patience while she realizes she’s safe.

She is vaccinated and microchipped. She is scheduled to be spayed, and will be 4DX snap tested.
