Meet Othello 🤎🐾

Okay, seriously - look at this dog.

Othello is a stunning 11-month-old red merle Australian Shepherd with beautiful markings, bright eyes and an adventurous young personality to match.

At just under 50 pounds, Othello is still a puppy, but he’s already got some pretty great things figured out. He’s potty trained, good with other dogs and good with kids, making him an exciting candidate for an active family looking for a young dog to become part of their everyday life.

Othello has a medium energy level and a playful, adventurous spirit. He would love a family who actually wants to do things with their dog - exploring trails, heading out on weekend adventures, playing outside, learning new tricks and experiencing new places together.

And being an Australian Shepherd, Othello comes equipped with a very smart brain.

Aussies were bred to work closely alongside people and are known for being intelligent, loyal, athletic and incredibly trainable. They often thrive when they’re given something to do and genuinely enjoy learning. For Othello, that “job” doesn’t need to involve livestock - training games, puzzle toys, hiking, exploring or learning new skills can all give that clever brain somewhere to go.

He’s still working on his leash skills, so his future family should be prepared to continue practicing with him using patience and positive reinforcement. At only 11 months old, that’s hardly surprising. He’s still learning how to navigate the world.

What makes Othello especially exciting is how much potential he has. He’s right at that wonderful age where his adult personality is beginning to emerge, but he’s still young enough to learn and grow alongside his new family.

He’s social. He’s playful. He’s smart. He’s absolutely gorgeous.

And underneath all that incredible Aussie hair and those striking markings is simply a young dog who deserves somewhere permanent to belong.

Othello is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative.

If you’re looking for an intelligent, dog-friendly, kid-friendly young companion who would love to explore the world beside you, Othello could be an incredible match.

Give him adventures, structure, positive training and plenty of love, and we have a feeling this boy will give you his whole heart in return. 🤎🐾
