Odin is a 5-year-old Husky weighing 69.4 pounds who has been waiting far too long for someone to choose him.

While other dogs come and go, Odin has remained behind - watching, waiting, and hoping his turn will come. It’s hard to understand why, because beneath his striking appearance and strong presence is a deeply loyal, affectionate dog who just wants a place to belong.

Odin is missing one eye from an unknown cause before coming into rescue, but it doesn’t slow him down. If anything, it tells a story - one of resilience, survival, and a dog who has already been through more than most. And still, he chooses to trust.

He is house trained, crate trained, and leash trained - a dog who is ready for a home, not still learning how to live in one. His energy level is medium, enjoying time to run and explore, but just as content to settle in and be near his people.

Odin does best with medium to large calm dogs with proper introductions, but he cannot live with small animals or cats due to his prey drive. He will need a secure, fenced yard and a home that understands his breed and his needs.

More than anything, Odin needs someone willing to see past the kennel, past the time he’s been overlooked, and recognize the dog he truly is. He doesn’t need perfection - just patience, consistency, and a person who won’t give up on him.
