Maroon is a beautiful 8-year-old Boxer mix with a big heart and a whole lot of love to give. At almost 78 pounds, she may be a bigger girl, but at heart she’s simply a gentle, affectionate cuddle bug who loves being close to her people.

Maroon has lived enough life to know what she likes - companionship, affection and having a comfortable place to settle in with the people she loves. She is described as sweet and loving and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a more mature dog.

One of the best things about Maroon is how well-rounded she is. She is good with dogs, cats, kids and even livestock, giving her the potential to fit beautifully into many different family environments. She’s an easy girl to love and would be happiest somewhere she can truly become part of the family.

True to her Boxer roots, Maroon is loyal, people-oriented and affectionate. While she may be entering her golden years, she still deserves plenty of enrichment, quality time and opportunities to enjoy life alongside her people - followed, of course, by some serious cuddle time.

Maroon is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She is currently heartworm positive and receiving treatment, but that certainly hasn’t stopped this lovely girl from being ready for the next chapter of her life.
