Leo is a 5-year-old Chihuahua mix weighing 9.6 pounds with a gentle soul and a sweet, playful side that starts to shine once he feels safe and comfortable. Though tiny in size, Leo has a huge heart and is looking for a calm, loving home where he can continue building confidence and feel truly secure.

Leo can be shy when first meeting new people, but with patience, kindness, and a little time, he warms up beautifully and becomes a loving, affectionate companion. Once he trusts you, he enjoys toys, cozy naps, and simply being close to his people.

He gets along well with dogs, cats, and children, though he would do best with calmer canine companions, as overly energetic dogs can make him uncomfortable.

Leo’s house-training status is currently unknown, and he is still learning leash skills and crate training, so he will need continued patience, structure, and positive reinforcement as he settles into home life and builds confidence in new routines.

With a medium energy level, Leo enjoys a nice balance of playtime and relaxation. He would fit well into many different living situations, including apartments, houses, or quieter homes looking for a loyal little companion.
