Meet Glaze! 🐾

Glaze is a handsome 5–8 month old Husky/Shepherd mix weighing about 22 pounds, and he’s very much still a puppy learning about the world around him. Like many young dogs, he’s playful, curious, and full of energy, but he can also be a little nervous in new environments while he figures things out. With a little patience and encouragement, Glaze quickly warms up and lets his fun, goofy personality shine through.

Glaze absolutely loves toys, treats, playtime, and spending time with other dogs. He’s very treat motivated, which will make training a a great bonding activity for him and his future family. Because he enjoys canine companionship so much, he would likely thrive in a home with another playful dog who can help build his confidence and show him the ropes.

Being a Husky/Shepherd mix means Glaze comes from two intelligent, active working breeds. Huskies are known for their playful spirit, independence, and love of activity, while German Shepherds are famous for their loyalty, intelligence, and strong desire to bond with their people. Together, these traits often create a smart, energetic, and devoted dog who thrives in a home that provides regular exercise, mental stimulation, and consistent guidance.

Glaze is still learning the basics. He will need continued work with leash training, crate training, and house training. Right now he tends to hide once he’s inside a crate and may bark when around others, but these behaviors are very common for young dogs who are still gaining confidence and learning routines. With consistency, positive reinforcement, and patience, Glaze has all the potential to grow into a well-mannered and confident companion.

Because he’s still a puppy, Glaze will need a family that understands the time and dedication it takes to raise a young dog. Puppies require guidance, 

structure, training, and lots of patience as they learn household manners and develop into well-adjusted adult dogs. Families willing to invest in that time will be rewarded with an incredibly loyal and loving companion.

Glaze gets along well with dogs, cats, and kids, making him a wonderful candidate for many different types of homes. With plenty of playtime, exercise, and continued training, he will blossom into a fantastic family dog.
