Dominic is a 1-year-old American Bulldog mix weighing 32.6 pounds with the sweetest, gentlest personality. This handsome boy can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but once he realizes he’s safe, his affectionate and friendly side begins to shine through.

Dominic absolutely loves treats, making him highly treat motivated and eager to learn. He quickly bonds with people through patience, kindness, and positive reinforcement, and once he warms up, he becomes an incredibly loving companion who enjoys attention, friendship, and simply being close to his people.

He gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and kids, making him a fantastic fit for many different types of homes. Dominic also enjoys car rides and settles nicely, making him an easy companion for adventures or relaxing days at home.

With a low to medium energy level, Dominic enjoys a nice balance of playtime, walks, and downtime. He can adapt well to many housing situations as long as he receives love, consistency, and regular interaction with his family.

Dominic is crate trained and doing very well, though he is still building confidence with leash walking and will benefit from continued practice and gentle guidance. He can be sensitive to loud noises, so he would thrive in a calm, patient home where he can continue feeling safe and secure.

As an American Bulldog mix, Dominic is loyal, affectionate, intelligent, and deeply people-oriented. Dogs like him flourish when they are included in family life and given routine, structure, reassurance, and lots of love.
