🐾 Meet Danny! 🐾

Danny is a handsome 1-year-old Border Collie/Great Dane mix weighing 51.2 pounds! 🖤 This sweet boy may be a little shy and nervous when entering new environments at first, but he warms up quickly and becomes friendly once he feels comfortable. Danny is a smart, treat-motivated pup who learns quickly and would love a family willing to continue helping him build confidence and polish his manners! 🦴🐕

Danny has a medium to medium-high energy level and absolutely loves being outdoors, playing with other dogs, and spending time with kids! He does play rough sometimes, so his doggy friends should enjoy an active play style. He is also good with cats! Danny is crate trained and heartworm negative, and he is neutered with no known health concerns or physical limitations. His housetraining status is currently unknown.

This playful guy is still working on a few habits, including pulling on the leash, jumping up on people, and being mouthy during play. He can also bark along with other dogs, but he redirects well and is eager to learn! Danny would thrive with patient guidance, consistent training, and plenty of positive reinforcement. ❤️

Because loud commotion and busy environments can make Danny nervous, he would do best in a quieter home with a yard to run and play. 🌳 A rural, country, or low-traffic environment would be ideal for him rather than busy city living. He can also be hesitant around entryways, so his new family should give him patience and reassurance as he continues building confidence.
