Meet Dakota, a smart and spirited mix breed puppy with a whole lot of personality packed into her petite frame. At just 6 months old and around 14 pounds, Dakota is still growing and learning, but she already shows her intelligence, and lively nature. 

Dakota is friendly and affectionate with people, including kids, and truly enjoys being part of the family. She loves giving kisses, soaking up attention, lounging nearby, and of course enjoying treats and toys. Her treat motivation will be a great asset as she continues her training.

Dakota is naturally intelligent, active, and eager to engage. Dakota will thrive with structure, consistency, and both mental and physical stimulation. Dakota will do best with a family committed to continuing her training and giving her the guidance she needs to grow into a well-mannered adult.

She does well with other dogs and absolutely loves to play. Dakota especially enjoys high-energy playmates and medium to large dogs who can match her enthusiasm. She can also do well with smaller dogs that enjoy an active play style, but with calmer or less playful dogs, she may be a bit pushy in trying to get them to join in the fun.

Dakota is small and can be a little nervous when meeting new people at first, but with patience and reassurance, she warms up and shows her sweet, loving side. Like any puppy, she’s also learning what is appropriate to chew, so guidance and redirection will be important as she continues to mature.
