Meet Clark 💙🐾

Clark is a handsome 1-year-old Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler mix with a striking speckled coat, a happy personality and plenty of enthusiasm for whatever adventure comes next.

At around 44 pounds, Clark is a great medium-sized companion. He’s described as friendly, playful and adventurous, and he especially loves making new canine friends. Clark is good with other dogs and seems happiest when he has opportunities to play, explore and be part of the action.

As a young Cattle Dog mix, Clark has so much potential. These dogs are known for being incredibly intelligent, loyal and engaged with their people, and they often thrive when they’re given both physical activity and opportunities to use their brains. Walks, adventures, training games and enrichment would all be wonderful outlets for this young guy.

Clark has a medium energy level, so while he’s certainly ready to get outside and have some fun, he’s not described as an over-the-top ball of energy. He’s simply a young, happy dog who wants a life where he can actually experience the world.

Clark originally arrived at the shelter as a stray, so we don’t know much about what his first year looked like. What we do know is that he’s friendly, social with dogs and excited to meet people, and he’s ready for someone to give him the stability and companionship he deserves.

Clark is vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative. He is not currently neutered.

At only a year old, Clark has his entire adult life ahead of him. He deserves for the next chapter to include adventures, dog friends, plenty of playtime and, most importantly, people he can finally call his own.
