Meet Bao 💔

Bao is a young German Shepherd mix puppy estimated to be between 3–6 months old and currently weighs about 10 lbs. This sweet boy is heartworm negative, already neutered, and has no known health concerns or physical limitations. Bao can be very shy when meeting new people or experiencing unfamiliar situations, and loud noises can make him nervous, so he will thrive with a patient family willing to help him build confidence at his own pace.

While timid at first, Bao is very treat motivated, which makes positive reinforcement training a wonderful way to help him come out of his shell. He enjoys toys, playtime, and gentle interaction, and he gets along well with dogs, cats, and kids. His housetraining is still unknown, and he will need continued work with crate training and leash walking as he learns routines and gains confidence in the world around him.

German Shepherd mixes are known for their intelligence, loyalty, and strong bonds with their families. Puppies like Bao need consistency, guidance, socialization, and mental enrichment to help them grow into confident, well-adjusted adult dogs.
