Meet Dixie, a 1-year-old Lab/Dalmatian mix who was rescued from a high-kill shelter and is now ready to find her forever family. Sweet, affectionate, and gentle, she absolutely lights up when children are around. Dixie showers them with soft kisses, happily soaks up cuddles, and adores being part of family life.

True to her Labrador roots, Dixie is playful and easygoing. She enjoys afternoons in the yard, splashing in water, chasing toys, and then stretching out for a bit of sunbathing. She also does well with other dogs, making her a wonderful companion for a home with furry friends.

At just over 31 pounds, Dixie is a great size for both playtime adventures and cozy snuggles on the couch. She’s spayed, heartworm negative, and healthy, which means she’s all set to start her new chapter.
